HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT BAG FOR YOUR APPLICATION

Working conditions in which the bag will be installed are most important parameters required for choosing the correct filter media:

  • Temperature
  • Dust practical size
  • Chemical characteristics of dust (acidic, alkali … etc.)
  • Dust load
  • Electrostatic effect of dust
  • Humidity
  • Type of filtration method (Pulse jet, reverse air, shaking and etc…)
Which Filter Media

In Addition of choosing the right Filter Media, you have to put the following parameters into your consideration

  • Air permeability of the material (fabric weight per square meter)
  • Fabrics finish and surface treatments/membranes
  • Bag configurations (top / bottom / diameter / length / sewing threads)

The design of cage and venture, also the way of fixing the bag with the cage into the cell plate, is a critical part.
